Vanguard Private Services is building an orbital cold-storage network for assets that cannot be allowed to fall into someone else’s hands — AI model weights, sovereign cryptographic keys, and root-of-trust archives. We move the physical layer of security off the planet, where a warrant cannot be served and a door cannot be forced.
Encryption protects the data. It does not protect the building.
Every terrestrial storage strategy eventually terminates at a rack, in a room, in a country. Three risks live at that termination point, and none of them are solved by better cryptography.
Physical seizure
A data centre is a room with a door. Drives can be removed, imaged, and carried out. Any purely software response is bounded by how fast software can be told what is happening — which is slower than a person with a screwdriver.
